GiftBlood is a community coordination platform only. We help connect voluntary blood donors with people who post urgent needs — we are not a hospital, blood bank, ambulance service, or medical provider.

We do not collect, store, or supply blood, and we do not perform medical screening or transfusion.
We do not guarantee that a donor will be available, respond in time, or that a donation or transfusion will take place.
Users are responsible for verifying information, following hospital and blood-bank procedures, and contacting qualified healthcare professionals and emergency services when needed.
Any coordination through GiftBlood is between users; medical suitability and safety must always be confirmed by licensed hospital staff.

In a medical emergency, contact hospital staff and local emergency services immediately.

For donors

Only donate if you are healthy, meet age requirements, and are eligible under local medical guidelines.
Confirm the hospital name, patient need, and blood group before travelling.
Donate only at a licensed blood bank or hospital — never in unverified private settings.
Mark your donation as completed in GiftBlood only after you have actually given blood.
Rest after donating and follow instructions from medical staff.

For requesters and families

Post accurate blood group, city, hospital, and urgency information.
Confirm a donor only after you have agreed in chat and trust they are genuine.
Hospital staff must verify donor eligibility and blood compatibility before transfusion.
Confirm or decline receipt honestly in the donation completion flow — it affects donor trust scores.
Do not pressure donors or offer payment for blood; voluntary donation is the standard.
